previous owner was running b100 for about 2 years and when i bought it,

 back on to dino fuel for me. well it has been leaking for a few days now i bought the seal off dieselgeek.com but i was sure hoping i wouldnt have to mess with it as it is my daily driver

also why are injectors so expensive for tdi's.

can giles work his magic on the tdi pumps too?

There is nothing magical in the TDI pump, since It's the ECU wich control the pump, If you want to do some magical thing with TDI pump, You have to do it in the software (chiptuning)

New bosch injector are expensive, but you dont need new one, only a good set of new nozzles + opening pressure calibrated.

TDI injector nozzles are a different animal as compared to the IDI injector nozzles as there is much more precision machine work involved in the manufacturing process. If you cheap out and buy cheap nozzles though, you will probably regret it.

If you went full bore with a larger pump head and whatnot and didn't retune it then you'd end up with a smokey car. Also, additional timing advance clearance in the pump cannot be used unless it is requested.

What are your goals for this car? Big power or just moderate improvements?
