• Im trying to set the IP timing on an 85 golf 1.6d na but my Bentley only goes up to 84 and hoping someone might have the specs.

• set at .95 or 1.00 mm you will be fine

• I reset cam timing and set IP at .95mm and man did it quiet the motor down big time
  
  The guy I bought it from replaced the IP but the clatter noise was very loud but all good now.
