Cold advance return?

So I got my advanced hooked up in my Toyota truck install but am wondering about what returns the cable?  Does the pump pressure do it?  There is no spring on the pump anywhere that I can see or maybe it is missing?

it's a hard wire and is strong enough to be pushed back in! well it is on the VW's if you used a VW cable ?? also you don't want it to return on it's own! it's done by you manually when your at operating temp. then you push it back in just like the old days when cars had choke cables!
