• was wondering if anyone had adapted 2.0 ABA gasser serp alternator setup to an AAZ. I'm putting one into my rabbit pickup and wanted to ditch the v belt the truck has now. I can get a gasser one for nothing, no AAZ motors here in the US.

  i believe this has been discussed before, and for some reason it won't work... IIRC, i believe that you need to get the serp accessory bracket from a diesel as the gasser one doesn't have clearance for the pump, or the pump bracket.
  
  otherwise this would be a great mod!
