My 1.6td is running Evans NGP+ coolant (low psi ) with a 19*22 *3 Griffin double pass NASCAR radiator and 16" Spal fan. I'm thinking that I must be leaking compression into the coolant system. The head is newly rebuilt though. Any suggestion would be great.

Yup, head gasket, cracked head, or cracked block.

Agree with above. My Evans wasn't pressurized when I lost my WP pulley and the temp was WAY past 250. It only expanded a little and dribbled out the overflow hose(open system)

The coolant system should only pressurize once it gets hot enough for the coolant to expand a bit. Then at higher temperature it should pressure to keep from boiling over.
PS: Tie her up and put her in the basement. (I didn't understand the question anyway)

Well it looks as though I gonna have to pull the head again. What is the likelyhood that a 1.9 head will mate up without issue? Btw it looks like I may be in the market for a head, if anyone has a GOOD leed please let me know. Thanks for all of the prompt input.
