IP woes!

So i've been battling with this IP on an n/a 1.6l. The engine has been refreshed w/new seals and rings and such. The original IP had been leaking at the cold start so I used an IP I had from another car. This IP had also been leaking and I had replaced the cold start seal and the main shaft seal about a year ago. The pump had been sitting an a shelf since. I installed the pump, filled it with ATF and placed the feed and return in a bottle of ATF, cracked the injector lines and started cranking. I'm getting circulation of fuel through the pump, but no fuel at the injectors.
I checked the solenoid seems fine, provided 12vdirect from the battery. I replaced it with one I know was working, still nada. I've run the battery down 5 times while cranking but am still only getting fuel through the pump but not the injectors. Am I doing something wrong?

I just took the injector lines off entirely. 12 v applied to the solenoid. Cranking still cycles fuel through IP. The high pressure outputs to injectors are just slightly spitting fuel. Is it likely that the High pressure side of the pump is clogged or seized?

So i did try cranking (20sec/crank x3) at full throttle, and also with the fuel screw turned in(CW) 1 and 1.5 turns.
Is it possible to swap the high pressure side from another pump? I only ask this because I invested the time and $ putting new seals in....?

i think you might be getting air into the pump somehow... how do you have it hooked up right now??? try running the pump directly from a small can of diesel with a little inline filter. what year is it? it might have the fuel pre-heater on the filter...

Is it spitting the fuel a good distance? Say about 5 inches? If so that's normal and I say hook it up. If it's dribbling something is wrong. If you swap heads you will need to have the pump calibrated. I wouldn't recommend that route.

I've been running the inlet and outlet hose directly into a quart bottle of ATF. It's flowing well in and out without alot of bubbles.... I did take the outlet banjo off and the case appears to be full.
When I say it's spitting out the injector outlets, i mean hardly any fuel at all. As if something is opening and closing and just a tiny amount of fuel present is splashing. I think if some miracle happens overnight and the ATF loosens somthing up, i'll consider myself lucky. Otherwise, i'll be ordering a seal kit and doing another pump. Anybody recommend a source?
BTW Thanks for your help!

If it's just dribbling out then there is probably something seriously wrong with the internals of the pump. Did you read my "yep, definitly monday" thread.

Yeah, that's what i'm afraid of, and to be honest, I think i've already wasted enough time on this puppy.

It should still shoot out a decent distance and not just dribble down the delivery valves
