my friend and I were thinking of re-enforcing the brace across the very front (of the roof) and then cutting a HUGE sun roof, from that point, as far back as we could, almost over the back seats. We're considering having a brace over the middle of the sun roof and do it jeep style and just clamp the canvas tight. OR keep the piece we cut out as nice as possible and then use like weather striping or something to make it removable. (two seperate pieces would work also as to keep a brace in the middle) It would be totally illegal im sure *everywhere* but it would be so cool! Like a Renault!! They have two sunroofs on some of their models. It's absolute lunacy but i think we could do a good job one way or another. I'm liking the two sun roofs idea. (they would be detachable and we'd use the pieces we cut out (carefully) as the removable part. no retractable rubbish! Can the mk2 jetta roof not accomodate this in any fasion or could it be a fun experiment
