Since i put my M-TDI in my car, i didnt really have the chance to try it against anything that was good ( my friends 1.8 8v hahaha). So yesterday going to the beach with two of my friends ( both dubbers, one has a 1.8 8v mk2 and the other a Jetta mk4 with 180hp 1.8t chipped to 225hp). Whe where cruisin on a two lane road when my friend sees a nice little mk4, he tells me to catch up to him that he already talked to that guy and he has the same setup as is jetta ( 225 hp) so i say okay laughing a little. We stop at the light, i pull up beside him. He askes me what my engine a blablabla i tell him its a diesel and so. The light turns green , very normaly whe start accelerating and a the end of the first gear i hear him floor it, so i do the same but i pull in second gear i floor it till third, we where neck a neck, my firends where completely :shock: , with a big smile on my face a put my flasher to get on the highway, he immediatly put on his and get right behind me :twisted: . So getting on the highway we do a 60 - 180 pull ... well guys, from 60 to 165 he took an inch, maybe two on me
I was amazed , we where three in the car, he was alone and it was about 25 degrees C outside, so not the best conditons and whe where head head. For a fully mecanical motor, its pretty incredible, ans that i can still do over 1k km with a tank
I luv my Vdubb but the gassers in my town are starting to hate it hahaha.
