mech to hyd head swap?

Good Day ,i have a 81 1.6n/a engine with a  mech head what is toast 11 mm bolts, have access to a 86(I belive) hyd head in good shape (12mm) bolts what do i need to do to swap heads, or can I ? Its for my winter beater rabbit so looking to keep it in a reasonable buget .

The difference would be that your block has 11mm head bolts.. I dont see a reason why you couldnt use 11mm head bolts/studs in a 12mm head.
