Yeah, I see they sell the head bolts and gasket, I was looking for the Stud set - the Ford/ Cogsworth.... a little earier to assemble. I've never rebuilt with studs - always used the copper Permatex gasket spray to get the gasket to stay put while I set the head with normal bolts...

OH thats easy! grind heads off 2 old bolts and then grind a slot for a screwdriver use those to line up the head and hold gasket in place then just use a screwdriver to remove them and magnet after a couple new bolts have been put in after the head has been set on!
you understand what i mean? with that process?

Yep, I might end up doing it that way :-)  I understood the studs to not stretch like the stock bolts so you can use them over and over...

I really need to be bolting this engine in my caravan sooner than that.... If I can't get studs locally in a few days, I'll use stock this time around.

Say Jimfoo, like watching your wheelin photos. Did you but a locker in your diff's yet ? I've got a first gen Rubicon and that magic button means I've never been recovered but I've recoved many...
