mine has the same issue. The pump needs to be retimed with all the internals and some worn parts changed. Also, the injectors need to be properly lapped and shimmed and pop tested.
pop testing is pretty cheap (maybe 100$ for all 4 at a friendly injection shop)
the pump retiming however is hard to come by. Most people ship their pump off to someone like Giles or Prothe
