OK...if you are crossing Montana and one of the Dakotas, please bear in mind that you will be looking at ambient temps in the 90's or worse, with lots of rolling hills.

Interstate speed limits are a 45 minimum and the Dakota highway patrol will turn the drug sniffing mutts loose on you as you are coming from the northwest. Seriously....be prepared.
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

Another thought:  Put a surge brake setup on a tow bar, connect it directly to the brakes on the towed vehicle. Bit of a pain to set up, but the least amont of wieght to deal with and best braking, all four wheels on the towed vehicle...........
Wouldn't bother for a short trip, but a cross country tour might be worth it!

Well the search is over.  Nope did not find one, but I did have a nice long conversation with my better half about the "economic feasability"   of my trip.  We came to a understanding that I all ready have a car that I am messing with, and until that one is complete, there should be no more toys.  God bless her.
I came to the conclusion that my life would be much better / easier  if we shared the same vision  .
I think any of you married guy's can relate.

Well, the next guy in line is going to get himself a hell of a nice caddy for cheap.     Nice discussion on the trailering subject though.
