i balieve it would be wise to carry a copy of the rules in the glove box!
for any diesel owner! so when a rookie cop asks! a copy can be given when a drivers licence and ins. and reg. is handed to him!
I don't know that I would try that one. If you have a cop with an attitude, trying to show him the actual regulations isn't going to make you any more well disposed to you.
Good thing my truck is too slow without the turbo, as if I took it out there without repairing it, I'd get a citation for sure. Surprised I haven't gotten one here yet, though I did stop driving it. Hopefully I'll have the rest of the $ to get it fixed before I go to Moab next month.
lmao awsome story stupid cop should have realized your a parent so your obviosly somehwat responsible i hope you win and think you will two but man what a cock jocky
I got rear ended 2 years ago. The cop was a rookie with a policewoman trainer who liked the guy who rear ended me. They sent him on his way and gave me a ticket. They said I side-swiped him, even though my bumper's center had the only damage to my car. No side damage. First mistake was not photographing everything at the scene.
Went for informal hearing. Cop did not show, had it dismissed, but the prosecutor asked for "Dismissal without prejudice" = My Second mistake was not objecting to this "without".
Got a new ticket in the mail for the same offence.
Asked for informal hearing again, but we had a mini-trial for 1 hour. Cop showed and lied under oath. Judge did not buy his explanation of how I could have no damage to my side and only to my center bumper...
