if it rains you set it up like a canopy. It's also nice to put up over your tent so that it doesn't get wet. Plus it's also nice to put a tarp on the ground.

Was thinking that. Looking for a tent, all say they have to be sprayed with water repellent before using. Guess 2 layers is better than none, huh? :)

Are there any links for Canadian Customs? Besides beer ( imagine that) can I bring over propane?

I'd rather not, form an obvious safety point of view, but I would like to know besides guns what I can and cannot bring.

Thanks again, looking forward to it.

BTW, Tyler, how many people have signed up?

Stay well.

Propane shouldn't be a problem (I think?) other than transportation of dangerous goods regulations. Fireworks are probably a no no......
If you have anything worth serious bucks (maybe a guitar?? tools? camping gear?) take it into US customs before you cross, they should be able to give you something that will eliminate problems when you cross back into the states. They might try to claim you bought it in Canada when you cross back into the states if you can't prove (on the spot) where you got it. BTW, if you've got a passport, bring it. YOu won't need it to get into Canada, but America customs is starting to hassle Americans on the way back into the country, especially if you run into someone having a bad day. Don't crack any jokes about bombs........... :D

oh god... seems like americans have no sense of humour   (some anyways)

my dad was telling me a story of someone bringing a geological surveying tool that is dragged along the surface.  and it just happens to look like a missile.  so the guy jokingly said it was.  BIG mistake

Well, I'll just bring receipts the hopefully keep them happy. Other than that, I'm cool lol.  And stop in Customs BEFORE crossing over and try to get then to document everything brought over for the return trip.

Thanks. See ya in a few weeks.

Only if you don't share :D

Some things to keep in mind. Don't bring your own firewood. Apparently there are various bugs that like our lovely Canadian trees. So local wood only.

Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash the whole time. If your dog barks excessivly you will be asked to leave.

Noise must be kept to a reasonable level

Please pay me before arriving at the site if possible. I had to pay a good chunk of money to reserve the site for the weekend and I have to prepay for everyone that is coming. Paypal prefered.

Arrival time is 2pm, and check out is 2pm.

Thanks guys.

PS: Don't do 50 over on the Canadian roads, your vehicle will be siezed on site and you face up to a $10 000 fine. Seriously.
