I removed my power steering/water pump belt today. No amount of adjusting could keep any tension in the belt. I was able to just pry up on the belt a bit and it slipped off. I've never seen a belt worn as bad as this one. There's hardly any cogs left, they're all worn down to almost nothing. I guess I'll be getting new belts tomorrow.

there a new neat style v belt it's called twistlock and you can make it any size you like! a place here that carries all kinds of belts and bearings turned me on to it been using it on my riding lawn mower and it's been holding up! a little pricy $5.75 a foot
