WTB N/A Airbox cover
« on: July 04, 2008, 11:45:42 am »
I broke one of the clip tabs on my airbox cover and now it makes a funny bogging noise because I can't fully seal it anymore.

Anyone have a spare airbox cover (later style) knocking around? Only interested in one with no broken clip tabs and I don't need the snorkle.

Shipping to 93545.

Thanks
Chris

I've got half a dozen, and all of them have at least one broken tab slot. Surprisingly though, you can still get a clip on there to hold. I recurve the clips and the tension holds them in pretty well.

I'll look thru my pile and see if there's a good one, but I doubt it.

Recently, one of the forum members stated that he uses long (or combined) hose clamps to hold the cover on. Another said that he uses zip ties for the job as well.
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

Bungie cords might work too
