Need to start labeling the CAN spec b3 aaz wiring harness that I have here for my b3 variant....however, my bentely of course only lists gas models and instead of using a "half gas/half diesel" harness, I'd like to use the entire AAZ harness instead *so i can sell the entire motronic 16v harness seperately*.
So...does anyone have a Bentley that they could share...either PDF form, electronic or whatever. Hell, I'd even be interesting in a CAN bentley that has the b3 AAZ listed *but to my knowledge...aaz b3 was only ever covered via the actual VW service manual and/or on bentley CD*
Anyone?
Joe
Its really quite simple actually.
Wire up a glow plug relay like detailed in the MKII Bentley.
Oil pressure switches are yellow and blue/black and go to the same pins on the fusebox as the gasser.
coolant temp wire is yellow/red and goes to the same place on the fusebox as the gasser.
use a black wire from terminal 15 from the fusebox for the glow plug relay and the fuel cutoff valve.
I usually use a Bentley for a MKIII that has all the wiring details for the AAZ. US spec manual.

nice...i have the complete passat harness...so I want to pick and sort what i need and don't need (as there are additional items for the AAZ such as electronic cold start advance on the pump, microswitches, etc. I think Martin is going to feed me what I need. I'd just like to see the harness diagram. I could easily get the engine up/running without and such...but, I'd like the diagram to get the harness labeled prior, etc.
Thanks.

No Bently I'm aware of.
I've got a B3 Passat AAZ in the driveway, if you post up pics when you get lost I can probably figure out where most of it goes.
