makes me wonder if it would be possible to create enough hydrogen to run the car while it drives...?  seems almost like perpetual motion, but it seems as though it could work.

using salt in the water is a must though, and any other catalyst that will help break the molecular bond...

It is indeed really interesting and I've been reading ALOT of stuff on it tonight and viewing vids, etc. It seems as if it is the real deal and there are several "stages" of it. Some can make a "hybrid" situation, and just assist and reduce the amount of gasoline used....others, more advanced, larger hydrogen generators can power THE ENTIRE CAR!!! On water...

Reports on different setups range from 38mpg or so...all the way up to some examples running on later Honda Accords that are netting close to 60mpg. Usually 20-30% increase of efficiency vs. gasoline alone.
Interesting...

Now... the debate being that you have to put more energy and "get less out" it seems is the hot topic with HHO. This should almost be another thread.

Can you imagine the possibilities?

Digging deeper...one of the pioneers for this tech.  and making it work was supposedly killed by the gov. after visiting the pentagon...was considered for patent and was going to be involved in the original STAR WARS program of the 80's, was going to build prototype engines to power tanks, etc. and then mysteriously was poisoned. I didn't dig to deep into this area, or the legitimacy of those claims, etc. (supposedly he was offered millions by Arab countries, big league oil, etc. to sell his ideas to them) but was more focused on the DIY'er possibilies and feasibility of this. It looks real and is feasible.

Interesting stuff...
