WTB: 1.5, 1.6, or 1.6TD for Rabbit
« on: June 09, 2008, 09:46:16 am »
I've been collecting used veggie oil for biodiesel for about a month now but have nothing to run it in yet.  I was just given a '79 rabbit diesel but without an engine.  So I need a diesel engine to put into my rabbit.  Does anyone have one?  It needs to have a good head.  If it needs seals or gaskets that ok.  If it's a turbo and the turbo needs rebuilt that's ok as well.

Let me know what you have, how much you want for it, where your located, and if your willing to ship.

Thank you.

How much are we looking for one of the NA engines?  And yes I would be willing to make the drive.  Thanks for the reply.

Duane,
I've already taken a look at your engine, but funds for that amount for an engine just don't exist for me right now.  Thanks for your reply.  I don't like to lowball people so I won't make you an offer I can afford.  Thanks for reply and good luck with your sale.
