hey there. i'm curious what i can do to get some different rpm's going in my jetta.

are there any 6 speeds that i can get onto a 1.9 td? right now cruising at about 60 mph or 100km/h i'm at about 2 and a half grand rpm. i wanna get that down to about 1800 or 1900.

what are my options??

You could go to a 02A TDI tranny.

"Making the jump NA to TD" slow but sure.

thanks for the compliment on the car :)

unfortunately it's someone elses hard work. i just drive it heh.

since i bought it i've blown and replaced the turbo, and put on bosio injector nozzles (didnt actually put them on myself) next is going to be stereo most likely. and i'd also like to go 5 bolt and get some rear discs.. brake upgrade all around. i can get the 5 lug centers for those wheels.

anyways.. will the 02a fit right up or will it require quite a bit of work??

thanks again
