my golf gtd its for sale as i have a new diesel and this car has served me very well.
the golf is very cheap to run and not slow as its a very rare gtd with a big intercooler very fast for a 1.6 turbo diesel plus very cheap to insure
the car has a massive history all in 2 folders all mots from new and only 2 owners the millage is a bit high at 201000 but it did 45,000miles in first 2 years! and if you look at the history you can see its had about 3 sevices a year iv counted 33 sevices in the history from 93-07 and is on its 4th cambelt last one being changed at 170905miles in 2004 and had its last full sevice at 196146miles when it had a new pas st pump
the car has also had in last few years new clutch,alternator, water pump, oil cooler, the turbo & intercooler cleaned and rebilt, full exhaust, rear brake pipes plus had new glow plugs last month
the car is very orignal but iv added the gti seats front and back wolfsburg st-wheel 16v alloy wheels with good tyers but i have orignal wheels and sterring wheel if you want you pick
its never let me down and did a 600mile trip last weekend and was fine the engine is very clean and pulls very well, uses little water or oil, pas steering is light, ride is good, brakes ok (mk2!) the gear box is good apart from 2nd gear like all mk2's when cold but once warm its fine, the body work is ok little bits of rust and touch up paint plus has a few old skool stickers but can come easy if you dont like them other then that cleans up very well
on the inside the car is good with all clocks working heat is a bit noisey on setting 1 but ok on 2 & 3 and gets hot very fast plus has gti spec dark glass,rev counter, rear lights,gti seats with no rips central locking on all doors and boot, pas, sunroof ,cd player that play mp3's

the golf gtd is getting very rare to find and with sevice history to show the car has wanted for nothing and has had £1000's spent over the years by 2 very carefull owner and this being my 5th mk2 golf and 8th vw i know its a good one and high millage on these bulit proff engine mean nothing its all about service history
so if your after classic looks cheap running and a rare car you can't beat this car for a second hand buy plus most have been lowered and max powered up by now
