Clutch Dust Cover
« on: May 20, 2008, 10:43:59 pm »
I have wondered why I can see a partial section of the flywheel in my 1.9TD I just installed in my 1988 Vanagon.   Today I learned that the clutch dust cover was missing from the conversion kit.  I need this part(s) if anyone has one to sell.

I understand they are fairly scarce.  If no-one has one for sale, I would appreciate a picture of the part(s) as it might be possible to fabricate one or modify one from another model VW, such as 1980s Golf.

Thanks for any assistance or suggestions.

the 80s golf should be the same if you mean the lower one, not the one behind the CV. That one may or may not be the same

I think i have a few around too possible... The full plate for between the block and the tranny...and maybe a few of the lower "half circles" that cover the lower bellhousing...

I need the half moon part that protects the bottom of the flywheel.  If you have some please let me know as I would certainly like to buy one.

Just tell me what it costs and how I need to pay you.

I had a vanagon westy at one point...i had a few parts around for one including a few of these since it came with a bunch of spares. I'll need to check. It is def. different than a regular 020 lower cover as Andrew set (so no one gets led the wrong way).

I can look when I go home here this next weekend.
