Where does the fuel overflow at #4 injector go?
« on: May 01, 2005, 12:22:58 pm »
My old 84 has been running without smoke recently which I attributed to putting on a splash gard under the valve cover and a new air filter. However this Am it failed to start and a I saw a lot of fuel on the ground. Checked and saw the plugged hose stuck on the #4 injector overflow tube was almost off. Pushed it back tight on a it started right up BUT now it's back to smoking (black). SO, shouldn't the excess fuel end up somewhere else the the #4 cylinder? Seems like it was leaking out the excess until the tube came totally loose. Can't find a picture anywhere to see what it should look like.
