Just bought a 10mm M-TDI pump from 'Dieselrules' for my setup  .  He claims that they are made from Europe by Ex Bosch Tech and should easily make 150hp.
I wanted to go with a Giles pump, as i already know that they are well worth it, but i could not justify the asking $1400 plus an aaz and tdi pump that was required on top of that.
I hope that this pump works out ok and hopefully i won't need to send it to Giles to be reworked.

well over in europe some cars came with a mechanical TDI pump.  apparently they are 'bolt' ons for the 1Z/AHU engines.  i would imagine performance/economy to be pretty close to the electronically controlled units.

Giles makes a mean pump.  nobody else that i know of does performance pumps like him.  lots of man hours go into building the pumps, and that is what makes it worth it.

Pic of the 10mm M-TDI pump that i bought from Dieselrules.  Getting ready to drop off my cylinder head for porting work and freshen up. VNT20 is getting custom mechanical linkage along with 1.6td manifold :D .
