home-made boost controler
« on: June 01, 2004, 12:06:58 am »
ok,
this is what i have.
I took an idle air stabalizer(off a jetta I think...part # 035-133-455)and put it in line with the waste gate.then im going to take 2 pressure switches and hook them up to the line my boost gauge is on, one set for 10 psi and the other set for 18 psi. then ill just have a toggle switch to switch between the two pressures. except to make the solenoid valve to work properly, dont i need to bleed the line behind the valve to get the desired boost so the wastegate doesn't stay open till it goes back down to 9 psi. anyway i can do this for one pressure but how do i make a way for it to change with the different pressures or do i even need to?
if anyone has any info or suggestions for me please tell me.
and can you post info about what kind of boost controllers you are running/or have made.
