I would be extermely happy to get that kind of power out of the combo I have planned.
Mike, thats quite a parts list, once I have the engine torn down and measured, and can decide what machine work I will need, I will be getting my parts from you.
Mike, are the valves you have listed on your page the sodium filled TD ones or the ones for the NA motors?

you'll need to turn up the boost and fueling to get 150 hp.  it must be intercooled (nice big fmic) and a larger downpipe & exhaust is also a must.  egt gauge here would be an extremely good idea to make sure you don't cook the engine.  it will probably burn a lot of oil if it was burning some previously though...

but we won't talk about longetivity...     although these engines can take a serious beating!!!

getting larger injectors (GTD's are a good start) will help too.  my butt dyno had some good results from the ones that smog installed into some injectors i bought.   good for at least a few hp gain right off the bat!

I'm not going for all out power, this will be a daily driver for me, I will be happy with 100hp and 150 ft lbs, I drove a 80' rabbit with a 1.5na in it for 2+ yrs every day, so any more hp would be a great improvement.
I want it reliable most of all, that is why I will more than likely be getting new pistons, rings, bearings, the head completely reworked, the turbo will be rebuilt.
I'll be running a boost gauge and an EGT gauge and aftermarket oil pressure gauge as well.

Ok, so I am trying to get my hands on a 1.9td AAZ cylinder head for my franken motor and the salvage yards I have contacted will only sell them to me after they have them rebuilt, I explain that I want to handle the rebuild and why (I want to know what parts go in and who does it), but they still wont sell it as is.
So, I am looking for another route, anyone got one laying around they want to get rid of?

I have tried to keep up on checking the FS threads for one, but have not seen one in awhile. I checked at the dealer and about fell over when he told me a new head is $1200, and the valves alone are $100 a piece.
