I have a 93 Isuzu NPR that has been sitting for a couple of years. I tried to get it going recently and it now runs but i am having issues with oil passing through the turbo to the exhaust manifold and downpipe.
Originally, i put too much oil in the truck and i sprayed too much starting fluid into the intake and the oil return line exploded. It was smoking like crazy, now i have since replace the turbo and line but oil is still passing through the exhaust but the truck runs. Please shed some light on what could be wrong?

Is there any quick remedy to the situation? I just want to move the truck to a different location but i am affraid that it would eat all the oil and cause more engine failure.

Should i just replace the turbo again? Apparently the new turbo was not primed before and after the install. The engine was started with the turbo dry and i heard a whining noise and oil started coming out of the exhaust side of the turbo and through the downpipe...
Did i mess up the new turbo? I seem to have blow by and excess crankcase pressure too.

starting fluid on a diesel???
if you have busted rings on one piston, it will run on the other three and that one will suck oil, and then send it to the exhaust.
my advice: you already have a busted engine, don't make it worse and tow the poor thing while it can be fixed "cheaply"

I hear you. I don't think that it's the turbo either. I seem to have excessive blow by and oil sipping out of the crank breather tube also.
