« on: May 01, 2008, 05:28:49 pm »
Hey!

I have a MK3 golf TDI 1998 model.   the problem is when its boosting at 80mph ish it will sudenly loose all boost and the turbo wont kick at all untill the engine is turnd off and back on.

I have heard of this problem before, i guess its a sensor or something alone these lines,   Any ideas ?

A common problem. Start by replacing the hose from the large black plastic pipe on the top of the engine to the ECU. This hose runs along the edge of the fire-wall in the guard channel.
