ya I turned the idle down quite a bit first. didnt rev too high after then made more adjust ments with the engine running.

1990 VW jetta 1.6 td, 2.5" exhaust, no muffler, governor mod 2010 edition, K&N filter. and now 66 hp and 136 ftlbs.
project 1.6 liter in the works  :)
