I am doing a 150pd conversion into a mk1 golf.
I am wondering how much I can remove from the engine to save space / increase performance while i am at it.
I will loose the cat. I have also heard about removing the egr gear. Does anyone have any more info on how to do it?
Cheers
Amit

look for egr blanking plates on ebay for land rovers, need 2 of them, egr port must be standard size as those plates are exact measurements for VW. have the egr disabled when you get it remapped
