Solid Lifter VS Hydraulic Lifter head
« on: October 03, 2008, 07:56:39 pm »
For the VW diesel motor, VW switched to hydraulic engines part way through the 1986 production year.

This is a hydraulic head

Two "bumps" in the front for two oil drains.

This is a solid lifter

Only one "bump" in the front, only 1 oil drain.
