I have searched and cannot find a complete summary on what exactly makes the stock vanagon CS block engines different than the other 1.6's?
? mm headstuds, ? block, ? rods or pistons, ? crank. ? pump.
Which of these are different from an '82 1.6 n/a rabbit, for instance, and why? Is there anything about it (besides the oil pan
) that makes it especially worth rebuilding vs. another mech. lifter 1.6?
