Saab 900 Blackstone IC - What would be a fair price?
« on: January 20, 2008, 10:40:16 pm »
As the topic says - any input?

I have a few options to buy one from $20 to $75.

The $50 is in great condition!

So how much do you think is a fair price for a decent Saab 900 Blackstone Intercooler ?

Thanks for your input!

Hans

Depends on whether it is the all aluminum unit (has aluminum end tanks) or the plastic one. The plastic ones honestly don't go for a whole lot (and I'd get a couple to make a nicely size double core) and the aluminum ones depending on who it is, etc. tend to be a bit overpriced for what they are. I've had one, they are nice... but I'd say not to spend more than 75.00-100 for the all aluminum one...less if you can. For the plastic tank one...used to be able to find/get them for 25 or less. Wouldn't pay more than 50 for one shipped.
Maybe thats just me :)

I had seen some on my local Craigs list a while back for $20-$30. My all aluminum was free with free shipping. Can't beat that!!! :D  :D  :D (a friend who has a Saab repair biz)

Well those good deals seem to come across everybody else but me... :?

So if anybody knows of a decent & reasonable all aluminum IC please IM me some details and I'll take it from there.

Thanks a lot!

Well, I don't think $50 is horrible, especially if it's in great condition. Or check e-bay as there are great deals on there all the time.
