those things are way too huge to fit into a MKII or MKI. I have one here at the shop and can measure it for you. They are just way too tall.

I would take you up on that offer as Im really wondering what could be used and what's totaly out of the question!

I mean how many turbo cars are there in canada that came with intercooler...!!?? Not that many I presume!

I just wanna rule out looking at those cars that arent going to surve me/US any intercooling help

The Saab intercooler is 15.5" tall and the MKII radiator is 12.75" tall. You also need to take into consideration that the inlet/outlet flanges on the intercooler are pointing up, so you will need even more room to attach the hoses to. As we all know, the MKII radiator fits underneath the core support and sits on the lower subframe.

Now that said, it could probably fit will many hours of cutting/welding and fabrication, but is it really worth it when you can get something better that fits well?

On a Quantum, there is more vertical room to fit that intercooler under the hood so I could see how that might be feasible.

edit: I just looked at the pics again and they are similar to mine but the flanges on mine go up and not back, so I guess that would be helpful.
