Tintin,  I both sell and install these parts.  I know what I'm talking about.

as does any 'reputable' shop

You might be able to find a 11mm IDI rotor/head assembly for a 1.6 pump, but to use the TDI 11mm rotor, you will need the TDI camplate, not the AAZ camplate.

Tintin was talking about using the IDI parts and not TDI parts.  just remember that his first language is not english.  you are basically stating how to go about creating an m-TDI pump.  (TDI cam plate and 11mm tdi head + plunger)

When I rebuild a AAZ pump for an M-TDI conversion, I install the TDI camplate and TDI 10mm head/rotor assembly.

cool.

If you think that a TDI came plate work well in a pump with IDI control lever, It's simply that you never tested this pump on a TDI motor, if you would have tested it, you would have realized that that does not work,  ha..ho....  yes It's run fine at idle, but at full throttle the motor do not have power and 1500-2000 RPM max, because the pump do not deliver enough fuel, you need more travel from the control lever, in that case, DI specific lever.

And not to mistake about me,  I tested all that is possible in the pumps with over 50 different set-up, on a TDI and IDI motor.

for a 11mm part number, the TDI one work great on an IDI set-up.

2 468 334 060 for TDI 11mm.

There are a lot of 11mm head available, but I test some model and I do not see much difference.
