antivibration pulley position?
« on: December 19, 2007, 03:05:20 am »
I am about to bolt on a new damper pulley and having never seen one before (and Haynes or Bentley not  being specific) I wonder if there is a right way or a wrong way to set it up.

Thanks for your guidance.

Keep it simple if you can.

It will only go on one way because of the bolt pattern. The four bolts in the crank sprocket are not equally spaced even though they might look that way with a quick glance.

There is also a pip on the sprocket with a matching hole on the damper so you can get it right first time.
