(130hp,200ftlbs)So my question is "Are those squirters in the turbo applications only?Because, my engine does not have them.i was wondering if theres another way around buying a whole new block(efficient radiator, oil cooler,ect..)thank you for your time,

I'm in Ohio, and could definitely help you out with what you're looking for..
And yes, only turbo blocks have the squirters

Thanks for the reply.Athens huh?Nice little place,i used to go down there when I was in high school w/friends of mine.So ,you have a td block to get rid of?I dont know where to go around here.My father knows a guy in Painesville(Bob Mason),who i guesss loves to work on vw's.He's got a shop, other than that im on my own. What would you want for the block?I would trade if your interested(na block)?Or cash.Would it come with internals?(crank, pistons, oil pick.)Im definitely interested
thank you, ben

Hey man, I'm just glad to be a part of a community that stays civil. So far, we are small enough here that when we disagree, it's ok, we can agree to disagree. Unlike TDIclub and vortex, we all try to learn from one another instead of getting into a big pissing contest about something relatively trivial.
Anyway, I'm glad I can help. It's nice to help folks keep these vehicles on the road. I owe a lot of thanks to my mentor Bob Scofield in Warren Ohio who has been in the business for 30+ years, and has seen it all. I've also learned a ton from all the other folks here, I can't say enough about this forum. I've had the opportunity to personally meet Andrew Libby and his family (great bunch) and hope to eventually meet everybody here.. so.. when is GTD fest.. I'd be glad to host it
My lovely wife has made me German chicken and spatzle so I have have to go now.. tty all later

Not to highjack the post: I'm Dillenger1's Dad and I am seeing here that there may be sources for tdi parts. I'm putting an ALH into a 98 Jetta Wolfy. I need parts that broke in the doner car's accident like N18, changeover valve N239, boost regulator N75, hard coolant line off of water pump and ALH engine harness. Any ideas where I can find some doner cars/engines. Any in Warren Ohio?
