I got the wrong diesel fuel filter ---wanna swap?

I got the wrong diesel fuel filter in a group of three and just noticed now 6 months later as I opened all the boxes up. Looks just like the one on my A2 86 Golf 1.6 n/a but has a hole on the top for a preheater I believe. I think these were for the earlier models :shock: Anyone wanna trade a 86 golf filter or buy this one make an offer

Are you looking for the one w/o the pre-heater, has just inlet and outlet line?  If so I have one for you since I swapped to a CAT 5 Micron filter.  BOSCH part number 0 450 906 172 on top of the housing.  In the box, never used obviously.
