Custom Exhaust Parts
« on: May 30, 2004, 11:42:11 am »
For anyone wanting to build a custom manifold or downpipe I have all the flanges drawn in Solidworks. If you have access to a cnc plasma or laser I can send you .dxf the files. If not and there some interest I can have them laser cut.I got some prices for the flanges.

Here are your prices for 1pc of each

VW T3 Outlet 1/4" SS  $47.00
Exhaust flange 3/8"SS  $75.00   1/2" SS $ 95.00
VW T3 Inlet 3/8" SS  $20.50   1/2" SS  $25.00

All taxes extra
based on last 2 items being same mat. when ordered
If you have any questions feel free to email me.

Thank You
David

These are Canadian funds. If anyone wants one cut let me know. This is a discounted rate because I've do some CAD work for them when they get busy or when they need 3D stuff done. I'm not making any money on this price I'd just like to get more cut so the price goes down for everybody. The more I get cut the cheaper it gets.

I can also get 16ga 304 SS Mandrels bends like the one below in 1.5", 2", 2.25",2.5", 3", 4". And various SS flex connectors.
Prices are Canadian Funds + Shipping. I've rounded up the prices I pay for these to the next highest dollar, so I'm not making money on these. I just would like to get a bigger order in so I don't have to pay shipping from the manufacter to myself. I'm about $200 short of free shipping on the bends I need for my car.
1.5"    3" bend radius   $50
1.75"  3" bend radius   $52
2"       4" bend radius   $52
2.25"  4" bend radius   $54
2.5"    4" bend radius   $56
3"       5" bend radius   $75
4"       6" bend radius   $85

2.5" SS Flex Connector with SS Interlock liner. 55
3"    SS Flex Connector with SS Interlock liner  70
I can get normal SS flex connectors in 1.5", 1.75", 2", 2.25" in 4" or 6" lenghts and 2.5", 3" in 6" lenghts

hey spike,

is that tube bent specifically for an application?
or is it bent for me to cut and fit?

let me check at work and see if that format is compatable with their plate burner. if so I will be very interested. also for people in my area, it doesnt cost me any more money to cut 1 or 10. maybe we can deal.

It's bent to be cut and fitted. 180 and 45.

I can save the file in almost any format.
I'm setting up an FTP site right now.

can you get the pics in the 1st post to work again?

will the exhaust flange work on a garrett turbo?

what are the prices for the bends? interested in making a downpipe for a 1.6l TD in a mkI in 2.25" diameter and i might as well get the bends from you as well...

where are you located?

 :)

Are the pics not working? They show up for me. I'll find somewhere else to host them I guess.

I haven't got any solid prices on the bends yet. There going to be about 75-80 bucks CAN and shipping.

Tha exhaust head flange will work for any 8v VW and the inlet and outlet are for the Garrett TD turbo. The inlet is bigger then stock, so turbine housing will have to be ported.

Fill me in and help me get up to speed since this is all new to me. Will all these parts work for me and my K14 KKK turbo on m 91 jetta?  Sounds like what I'm looking for. I really would like to get this thing to breath.

Thanks.

Spike

Where are getting those 90 degree elbows from. I know a place here in Mississauga that sells .065" wall 316 SS mandrel bent 90 degree elbows with a 3.75" radius for a third of that price. I bought six from them to make a new exhaust for my car but will end up needing only 3 or 4. They also sell stainless tubing for cheap as well. I got 9 feet of 2.5" 316L SS .065" wall tube for about $12 a foot.

Hope this helps.
