between the 1.9 and the 1.6 engines....things like intake mani exhaust mani pump....things like that?

1.9 has d shaped intake ports. I think the exhaust is the same as the 1.6

The head will easily if you have a hydraulic head, or with work to block oil passages if mechanical. However your CR will drop. I don't know what else as I haven't looked at a 1.6.

basically the block and everything that bolts to it is different. The head will bolt up but as Jim said will drop your CR. Exhaust manifolds are identical unless you have a K03 on the 1.9. Downpipes are different. Pump is different. injectors are different. Intake is different but will bolt up

i was thinking of getting a 1.9L block off a freind and he mentioned that I would need a head...I have the stock 1.5 and 1.6L heads here. So the stock 1.6 heads not going to work?
Wouldnt dropping the cR make it better for boost?

I guess you could always take material off the pistons. There was some thread on here about grinding them more like Toyota pistons reliefs, which supposedly helped the top end.
