FS: 12 spoke VW alloy wheels, set of 5, great for diesels!

I have a set of 5 early Scirocco alloy wheels. These are the 12 spoke alloys and they are fairly light (12 pounds 12 ounces each). I ran these for years on my diesel Rabbit and my diesel Jetta. They are about 2 poiunds per wheel lighter than the 4.5x13 Rabbit steelies, and about 4 pounds per wheel lighter than the 5.5x13 Jetta steelies.

You can run a 155(/80)R13 tire on these or 175/70R13 or even 185/60R13. With a light weight 155/80R13 (12 pounds or so), they come out under 25 pounds per wheel complete. Typically they run about 27-28 pounds per complete wheel with 175/70R13 or 185/60R13 tires.

Great for acceleration and ride quality and not bad for handling for a diesel Rabbit, Jetta or Golf.

Here's some pics.

These are in fair to good shape for 25 to 30 year old used wheels. The last wheel (fifth wheel in the pics above) has a small ding on the inner lip. It doesn't shake or wobble when you drive it, but you can see the small flat spot at the very top of the back view of the last wheel. I always used that one as my spare (why carry a heavy steel spare), and I have used it several times and never had any problems with shaking or wobbles.

The wheel faces aren't perfect, but they aren't in bad condition either.

Oh, and if you have steel wheels and the short lug bolts, you'll need at least 24mm long lug bolts to use these wheels. These wheels have the thickest lug shoulders of any VW wheel I've ever had.
