pressure fuel pipes IDI vs TDI
« on: January 03, 2008, 07:25:22 pm »
I am having a frustrating experience with my VW dealer (or VW Canada altogether). I ordered a set of brand new pressure pipes for my AAZ in october and only 3 of them came back. I was told that the 4 rth one was going to be back ordered and that it could take up to a month to get it. I was not too pleased. Now nearly two months later I hear that the part is still not available but some one is going to find out why. It may have to come from Germany.

Meanwhile.....could someone on this forum tell me what I should do. Are TDI pressure pipes different from IDIs? I wonder if I could swap my IDI parts for TDIs.

Thanks.

Keep it simple if you can.

Yes, the AAZ has a smaller end than a TDI, so it won't even start to thread on.
