i have the AHU engine which is 90bhp standard, ive ordered some .216 nozzles and was wondering if AFN ecu which is the 110bhp engine and fit it to mine would it help with power as i have read somewhere that the ecu's are the same its just it has a 110bhp map on the AFN. any help would be appreciated
No the AFN runs a different turbo, and the standard injectors on them are .205
If you decide to go VNT though that would be a good idea, but you'd need the turbo, downpipe, N75, vacuum reservoir.
You can get the chips you need off Aligator on tdiclub, no soldering needed on the AHU ecu. It'll do 140bhp on the standard turbo with minor smoke
so if istick with my AHU ecu and buy a chip from aligator i should be ok?
My AHU has surface mount chips
If you can find an AFN ecu for a decent price I might be interested...

Hi, ill let you know if i do find one, what spec is your engine and in what car?
Standard AHU at the moment, but I'd like to fit a VNT eventually
Its going in my Corrado starting tomorrow, since the 16V died today

cool, any other plans? tbh i dont know much about tuning them just starting out!
Well I'm ultimately aiming for 200bhp / 350lb ft. Nozzles, VNT18-22, FMIC, Rocketchip, Total Seal rings, ARP studs should do it
A standard 1Z is going in the 'rado while I build a mad AHU in the background
