I'm looking for a good diesel mechanic in the Seattle area. I want to do an engine swap, but definitely wont do all the work myself. Any suggestions?
jerry at nw connecting rod built my engine. he has a good rep as a quality engine builder, i think mostly aircooled, but he had a lot of diesels in his shop. i'd recommend starting by asking him. i don't recall whether he did installs but i'm sure he could reccomend a good mechanic if he doesn't.
my roomate works out of our garage, he is a fully ASE certified mechanic. has done a TON of engine builds for friends/customers. i wouldnt trust anyone else to build my motors and tranny's.
He is in Kent, near pacific raceways if you are interested.
