I noticed he didn't answer the question, probably has no idea what it even is. It looks like the haldex unit that goes on the AWD tranny- the flanged side connects the right side front axle, the other side bolts on the AWD tranny and the tailshaft-thing connects to the driveshaft that goes to the rear. It's basically worthless without the matching gearbox and rear diff, as there were several variations on final drive ratios and if you don't get a matching set you are screwed.
Besides that, adapting an AWD system to a car that didn't have it originally would require a total re-work of the floorpan and fabbing/sourcing rear suspension parts. NOT worth it.
