• i was wondering that not too long ago as well... wonder if they are the same as 8v rods, and i wonder if they are stronger?

• I heard it was the crank from the vw engines that were used in the dodge K cars in the late 70's early 80's that were the 1.7 they were the stronger ones
  but i don't remember all the facts but i have heard of it though!

• 1,6 rod is 136mm long. You can use 1,7D crank, but it is same than 1,6 :wink:
