Hi All! Any Uk owners? with ahu/1z??

Hi all just starting to fit a AHU 1.9tdi into my project mk2 and i struggling to find any information on what i can do to the engine while its out of the car tuning wise. i have the intercooler sorted, cheap tuning box, 3" downpipe if theres room! so if anyone has any ideas or knows anywhere in the uk of where to buy anything for them let me know!


PS wanted to do a build up thread what section shall i put it in?

for performance, start with a bigger turbo if your budget can handle it.

if the engine has some km's on it then you may want to consider doing a ring job/new bearings while it's out.  new injector nozzles are always good.  .205 is a pretty decent injector, but the .216's out there give some good smoke & power  :twisted:

oh yea.. just cleaning your intake might net you a few hp from the gunked up EGR system.  yummy oil & soot all caked onto the intake ports!!!

check out my clean head  before it had about 1/4 a cm of crud built up on the intake walls.  (that can't be good for anything!)
