Any 2.4l 5-cylinder AAB owners out there ??

Or more specifically, any AAB owners out there successful in finding the turbo parts here in North America to upgrade to the turbo version of that motor (ACV) ??

My brother just bought a T4 Vanagan with the 5-cylinder AAB diesel engine... he's very happy with it but about to start towing a Bobcat and could use a bit more punch.  We'll build our own flanges if we have to, but obviously finding stock manifold(s) would be easier.... of course shipping them across the pond might be prohibitive.

Same goes for the IP pump... dunno if the LDA top from a 1.9 pump would fit... anyone play with this ??

Yet again I wish I lived in Germany... !!!

hi,

turbo-parts and intercooler from 2,5l TDI fits 1:1 to the AAB.

the pump turns counter-clockwise, TD-pumps from old Audi 2.0 TD fits in and gives a 10mm plunger upgrade

LDA from D24 turbo pump will also fit, 1.6 or 1.9 LDA will not fit.
