How many head gaskets do you have on hand?

If you spend a lot of time reading here, you will get a good idea.  It all costs money.  My project cost has gone way past where I had intended.  I am past 2 grand and still need to spend about another 1500+.  That does not include the body, paint job etc...  But it will be a fast daily driver that will be good for another 200k+ miles.

ah yes... you could do anything with enough money.  even somehow run 100 psi boost on a 1.6 diesel without blowing it up!

it would cost you around $200-400 to achieve 120 unreliable hp.  basically intercooler and a bigger exhaust.  by unreliable i mean that it isn't really dyno proven per say.  beware though that increasing boost and increasing fuel will increase oil consumption and put additional stresses on the motor.  (the intercooler and larger exhaust help to keep things cool)

if you want reliable power, get a Giles pump for $950 and add the intercooler & exhaust.  the car is now a mini hot rod once you do all three.

add your location.

What about your car? How many miles, what condition?  Youy need a solid foundation to build on unless you want it all to come apart piece by piece.
