looking for audi 5000 TD motor specs? is it a worthy swap?

trying to find out specs and how reliable this motor was. they only sold them in 83 in the US, correct?

I may be able to get my hands on one for a vw quantum wagon swap and i am trying to decide weather or not it is a worthy engine for the trouble in regards to power and reliability, as well as the ability to find parts for it.

if anyone has specs/ info on the motor and the swap please let me know.

Also not sure how a 5 speed standard tranny that is in the quantum will work with this motor

(the quantum is currently a 5 cylinder gasser)

The 2.0 td has typical early diesel problems, headgaskets etc. It was sold all over the world, but for 83 only in US (Canada had them to 85 IIRC). Not to sure what power was but it was around 80 I think.
